It's a Scherzo were each part for the three pianist using their names to form the basic material in the piece. The constrain space with three pianist one keyboard limited the area for each pianist that also influenced the structure of the work.

This piece was started in the August of 1986 at the end of that month The doctor found that I had an agressive Lymphoma. How do I finish the piece before all medication. When still at the hopital my wife brought manuscript paper. Then sitting in bed I scribled away No time to loose. The premiere was about a month away the poisinous medication around the corner. The piece left to be copied I to start chemopherapy. In 1989 I added a slow first part a Nocturne to go with the Scherzo.
